Summary/Abstract: „Wiadomości Parafialne. Kirchliche Nachrichten” was probably one of the oldest parish newspapers published within Upper Silesia. It was founded and edited in the years 1908-1911 in St. Joseph parish in Ruda Śląska by Fr. Antoni Ogan. The weekly contained parish announcements, but also many articles reflecting everyday life of a typical Upper Silesian parish community in the beginning of the 20th century.
