Summary/Abstract: The article contains a review of several types of rhetoric used in pastoralpreaching by bishop Grzegorz Ryś, an auxiliary bishop of the Archdioceses of Cracow.Among them there are, inter alia: examples, metaphors, analogies, contrasts, and themost common – rhetorical questions. Speeches selected for the analysis come fromseveral sources differing in terms of the communication situation.
