Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine a superstructure of students’ texts written as short essay texts. In this context how students arrange the introduction and conclusion sections of their texts were examined. Analysis method was used in this study. Introduction and conlusion sections of sixty two students’ texts were analysed according to scala developed. As a result of these analyes many problems in the arrangement of the introduction and conclusion sections were found. This case shows the conclusion that students can not arrange the süperstructure of text. Therefor it is suggested that superstructure of text should be taught.
