Summary/Abstract: Citizens' requests are only admissible if the registry is set up. The municipality of Gradačac had a difficult war period, which reflected on the state of the building (since the aggressor suffered the plunder of many people) as well as on the demands of the citizens, because numerous displacements of the population caused by persecution and so on. Citizens most often seek property ownership documents and transcribe documents of various kinds. The municipality helps them thanks to orderly archive regulated in accordance with archival regulations, but also because of the computerization of this service, so that by transforming the records into the corresponding digital program, the necessary data is very quickly and easily accessed.
