Summary/Abstract: The First World War and the Romanian front are illustrated in the collection of the National History Museum of Romania through military objects, documentary and photographic records and works of plastic arts which depict the war as well as national personalities or common people who were involved in it. A pleiad of Romanian painters used their brushes to portray the First World War on the territory of our country.
