Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, human society is confronting with a wide range of security dangers, risksand threats emerging both from the real, physical space and from the virtual one. In orderto adequately respond to these security challenges, world’s states unify and concert theirefforts within different political-military organizations (NATO) or within organizations ofanother nature (the European Union). The latter conceive, organize and develop theiractivities of protecting their member states and citizens against security risks and threatsby enacting programmatic documents such as “NATO’s New Strategic Concept” and theTreaty of Lisbon.
