Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the future of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) in the context of the emergence of factors that threaten the unity of the ACP. Furthermore, the policy pursued by the European Union has suggested that the existence of a group established with the aim of maintaining special relations with the former European Community is no longer justified in the new international circumstances. ACP decision-makers have started an internal debate on the future prospects of the grouping and have formed two groups to develop the principles of its functioning in the future. The aim of the article is to analyse the workings of both groups and evaluate the implementation of their objectives.
