Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the presented analysis of Czech Church Slavonic texts is to find and classify all the methods of translation of Latin absolutive participial constructions, expecially of the ablativus absolutus (grammatical form, syntactic constructions) into the first Slavonic literary language. The translation can be mostly evaluated as a stylistic appropriate, but not constitutive in the sence of new elements of Church Slavonic grammar (syntax).
