Summary/Abstract: Bullying is a phenomenon whose frequency is confirmed by the results of numerous scientific studies conducted in our country and abroad. Scientific research that addresses the current issues is directed towards a fuller understanding of the problems of bullying in order to prevent it successfully. Given the many negative effects that bullying can have on individuals and on society as a whole, it is necessary to identify the key factors that lead to the emergence and stability of this form of antisocial behavior. Previous works in this field are able to shed light on a segment of the problem, but not to explain the whole problem. The theoretical part of the paper deals with the analysis of the concept of risk and protective factors and the concept of resilience, as two leading theoretical concepts in this area.
