Summary/Abstract: The need for combating corruption has increased in the past 4-5 years of the 25 that have passed after the December 1989 events, which is why, 10 years after the change of the political regime in Romania, the first regulations for the prevention, detection and punishment of corruption appeared, namely Law no. 78/2000.
