Summary/Abstract: Knowledge is considered as being a strategic resource that determines the company's competitive position on the foreign market. The effectiveness of knowledge transfer impacts the success of the company. In order to ensure effective knowledge transfer the company needs to construct the network architecture that would facilitate this process and enable the efficient sharing of knowledge. Network architecture is investigated in the paper in the strategic business network approach. Within this approach the company can adapt its internal and external structure to the accepted strategy on the culturally different foreign market. The article presents the elements of the network architecture that determine the effective transfer of knowledge, and thus are particularly important in the context of strengthening the competitive advantage in a foreign market.
