Summary/Abstract: National parks are not only the areas of the protection of biodiversity, but also many places visited by tourists (approx. 11 million tourists a year). In order to limit the negative impact of tourism on the protected areas on the importance of gaining the concept of sustainable tourism. The article analyses the partnership the National Park used in Germany as a realization of this concept. Against that background, a study of Polish national parks. Polish national parks work with ok. 900 enterprises with its surroundings. Most cooperation is only for posting information about the company on the Web pages of the Park, without clearly specified criteria for publishing such information. It seems advisable to take further efforts to implement the concept of sustainable tourism in the Polish national parks among others: through the partnership for parks.
