Summary/Abstract: The food industry is one of the most developed and the most profitable sector of the economy. At the same time food industry may cause significant threat to public health when it is not provided with special quality and safety standards in the process of food production and distribution. This articles discusses the issue of criminal manipulation of food, food falsification, including food that contains GMO and also illegal, Internet sales of food or food shipping.
