Summary/Abstract: The study is an attempt to assess the relationship between relational capital companies and the use of web platforms. Relational Capital and its building is conditioned by phenomena such as the increasing virtualization of business processes or the development of the information society. Knowledge-based economy somehow forces the attachment more attention to issues related to developing and investing in intellectual capital, which one of the pillars is relational capital. In order approximations of both the concept and the essence of relational capital and increasingly used in business practice Web 2.0 platforms were analyzed publications, both Polish and foreign, and statistical data from the Central Statistical Office publication or Gemius. The main aim of this article is therefore characteristic of relational capital, in terms of the increasing popularity of Web 2.0 platforms. In this paper the author will try to defend the thesis, saying the significant effect of Web 2.0 on the relational capital of the company.
