The Development of Innovativeness Businesses and the Region through Open Innovation

Summary/Abstract: The growing role in the innovation process is constantly gaining in importance. The effect of change is a constant search for solutions to ensure the development of enterprises and the economy. Both recent publications and ongoing research in the field of innovation suggest the development of concepts such as open innovation, clustering and innovation networks. The purpose of this article is characteristic of open innovation in terms of shaping innovation of enterprises and the region. The article highlighted a strong correlation occurs between regional policy and innovation operators. Also highlights the need to develop innovative linkages between stakeholders of the region, for this purpose was used as an example Silicon Valley’s most famous cluster in the world.
