Using the balanced scorecard to implement the strategy of university on the example of UMCS

Summary/Abstract: Balanced Scorecard is a modern concept for implementing the strategy and monitoring the course of its implementation. Nowadays it is increasingly used in managing of universities. Balanced Scorecard translates the mission and strategy of university into objectives and actions cascaded into individual organizational units and understood by all employees of the organization. The article presents the example of practical use of the Balanced Scorecard in the process of developing strategy of UMCS.
