Summary/Abstract: The present study will focus increasingly on the sources offered to it by a relatively unstable period, from a religious perspective, the transition from the state of the first Asenides to the Second Bulgarian Tsarat. The reign of Tsar Boril, which we framed from the generic point of view in the early Asenian period, represents a crucial moment for the future state of Tyrnovo. What is to be retained is the antagonism between Orthodox Christianity and the heretical currents of the bogomils. The Synodik of Tsar Boril, as well as the events that followed the Orthodox Synod of 1211, reveals a series of peculiarities specific to the Slavo-Bulgarian civilization, which leads to an increasingly obvious difference in the Asenian society , The accentuation of Bulgarian ethnicity and a clarification of the religious situation
