Summary/Abstract: In the article with the title above, the author discusses a problem that has not been approached and treated in a rather superficial way until now, that of the Romanians of Transylvania and Bukovina who have become prisoners in Russia during the first World war and the fulfillment of their desire to register as a volunteer in the Romanian army, thus contributing to the realization of the dream of union of all Romanians in one state. In order to show how real, current and acute this problem is, the author uses, analyzing, the valuable information found in the weekly "România Mare" (Great Romania), subtitled " The sheet of the readily Romanian of Austria-Hungary ", edited by the intellectuals of the Corps of Romanian Volunteers of Russia, under the presidency of Sever Bocu, from July 20, 1917.
