Contributions to a Portrait of a curator Alexandre Saint Georges

Summary/Abstract: The evolution of Romanian museography obliges us to study and evoke those who, through their activity, have contributed to the creation of museums and the cultural heritage itself. An illustrious example of an amateur of cultural values is Alexandre Saint Georges, who for some fifty years has grouped several heritage values in a museum. After the Second World War, several cultural values were destroyed: the museum itself. All the works of art of this museum have been dispersed in other museums. The author wants to propose the creation of a common inventory, elaborated by all the owners of these works, inventory which would be a very useful working tool
