Summary/Abstract: The poetry of Tymoteusz Karpowicz transforms mimetic presentation and projection of reality into an ontohermeneutic poetic process of re-tracing, thereby becoming the art of aesthetic experiencing things by words. This is possible thanks to the lyrical medium – the literary subject in Karpowicz’s poetry, whose speech evolves into musical spinning, leading the reader into a nebula of expressions and meanings, thus enabling things to emanate from and be highlighted in words. His poetic discourse brings things into being – for his poetry belongs to the after-modernist trend in Polish literature, which emerged from the modernist and postmodernist movements.
