Summary/Abstract: After the reign (1711), Romanian ruler and scholar Dimitrie Cantemir fled to Russia, where he remained until his death in 1723. To study this period of his life, Romanian scholars should have regard to the Russian archives, which But it has not happened so far. In this context, the article makes known the contents of an archive fund looking at Dimitrie Cantemir, which is kept at the Moscow State Central Archives.
