Summary/Abstract: In discussing several aspects of the incised ornamentation of 17th-century Romanesque painting on wood in the Romanian countries, communication proposes to highlight the existence in this domain of feudal art in a stylistic climate with certain convergent tendencies of unity, between Wallachia, Moldavia and Transylvania.
