Summary/Abstract: The article presents different forms of students’ passivity according to the theory of the transactional analysis. The essence of passivity phenomenon is that students do not get enough positive sign recognition – strokes, which come as a result of unawareness and it does not supply student’s requirements as a consequence. The author emphasizes changes in educational system which cause didactic aspect to become more important but the aspect of pedagogical process loses its significance which could be the source of growth of passive behavior among students.
