“I” in relation to “YOU” – personality traits necessary for teacher’s job. Research report

Summary/Abstract: The article presented specific possibilities of using the concept of transactional analysis in order to characterize the educational reality. According to her research, the author shows the connections between teacher’s personality structure and manifested life position. She points to the role of having and recognizing the positive and negative dimensions of ego states in their second-order structure, in the context of life position. She also emphasizes the importance of Child ego-state for the formation of life position which assumes a positive image of self and others.
