Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to establish the linguistic and cultural similarities and peculiarities of the Russian concept of pie and the Bulgarian concept of banica. The similarities and differences of the concepts are assessed by factual plan and by mapping the cultural component of spiritual value as the basis of formation and development of models of attitude and moral values encoded in the semantics of the concept.
