THE MORPHONOLOGICAL DESCRIPTION IN THE NORMATIVE

Summary/Abstract: The topic of this article is the analysis of the morphonological description in the normative Croatian grammars. As representative extracts are used the following: Tomislav Maretich’s academic grammar (Gramatika hrvatskoga ili srpskoga književnog jezika 1963), the Croatian grammar of the Institut of Croatian language and linguistics (Hrvatska gramatika 1995, 1998) and the descriptive grammar by J. Silich and I. Prankovich (Gramatika hrvatskoga jezika 2007).
