Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the discussion is to get to know the motives of innovative enterprises services, identifying innovation barriers and getting to know managers regarding the support for innovative activities of service enterprises. This article is based on the results of innovation research in the sector services, conducted for the needs of the Institute for Market Research, Consumption and Convoys in the third quarter of 2015. The study covered 326 managers from service companies, Varied in terms of size and type of services offered. The research was nationwide. As a result of the analysis stated that the main motives behind the activities of innovative service companies are getting higher turnover, improvement of service quality and acquisition of new customers. Managers Service companies are convinced that the cost of innovation is too great high in the situation of limited own resources enterprises and difficulties obtain external funds. The support rating is unfavorable for innovative activities from different institutions, organizations and associations. Medium size and large service companies are better advised than micro and small enterprises in getting financial help and more often use the offer consulting companies and scientific units. The results of the analyzes confirm the need Strengthen cooperation between research units and service companies in terms of innovative activities. This article is of a research nature.
