Summary/Abstract: The constitution represents the basic principles of each political system. It outlines the schemes of interference of the crucial authorities within the division of power into legislative, executive and judicial. The study presents the overview about the process of creation of constitutions in each historical period. The important part of this study is classification criteria, because each type of constitutions is divided in political science according to them. In the conclusion the author deals with control of constitutionality issues.
