Summary/Abstract: One of the first authors who chose to research the intelligentsia of So-viet Russia at the end of the 20s — the beginning of the 30s of the 20th century was a German scientist Walter Benyamin. The activity of Soviet intelligentsia and its support to the government in the first years of Bolshevism as well as the Bolshevism interest to this activity gave Benyamin the facts for opposing with heterogeneous mass of European left-intellectuals.
