MACHIAVELLI’S THE PRINCE

Summary/Abstract: Going through various books that deal with Machiavelli and his political thought, I noticed that the works are either too detailed for the common reader, or they do not contain enough information, so they appear to be inexhaustive, which is why I will try to give a complete, sufficient, but not muddled, overview of important events in Machiavelli's life, his political thought and content of the Prince. In particular, I will discuss the aim of the Prince, which is something that does not attract attention of many people, and is, therefore, neglected and abandoned as irrelevant and unworthy of interest.
