Structured policy as a form of alternative investment on Polish market

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns structured policies as one of investment forms which belong to the latest trend in the development of Polish financial market, including the insurance market during the latest years. The paper discusses the essence and structure of the structured products focusing on their forms with special attention to the features of the insurance products as well as the tendencies of changes on the Polish insurance market which result from the fact that structured policies are regarded as an alternative form of capital investment displacing traditional life insurance and unit-linked insurance from the market.
