Summary/Abstract: Article is presenting a history of the 7th SS Mountain Training and Replacement Battalion, a Waffen-SS unit, which was formed in Serbia to train new recruits for the 7th SS Volunteer Mountain Division Prinz Eugen, but was then moved to the Operational Zone of the Adriatic Littoral. The battalion was stationed in the Italian-Slovenian border area, where it continued to train recruits, but also involved in limited counter-insurgency warfare against local partisans.
