Characteristics of Unemployment in the Russian Federation and Methods for Solution

Summary/Abstract: “Unemployment” is the workforce which is the result of difference between the workforces and “employment level” of that part of the workforce who was able to find a job in one economy, also it’s the workforce who was unable to find a job and get employed. From the past up to date unemployment was one of the most important problems of the society and had strong impacts on living of individuals. This problem even today continues to be on the agenda of developed and developing countries together with poor and undeveloped countries, globally specialists are looking for the solution possibilities for overcoming the unemployment or at least minimize it. Economic crisis that had often occurred in Russian history, especially in XIX century resulted in increase of poverty together with unemployment and this situation assisted the development and spread of ideological flows. In the past and today it has been aimed to solve the problem by fully considering the human workforce together with surface and underground sources of the country under the policy of employment in economic development plans. We tried to investigate the unemployment situation in Russia according to statistical data and we also tried to bring light to the struggles for overcoming the unemployment problem.
