Non-Profit Organisations as Beneficiaries of the Process of European Integration on the Example of Jagniątków Foundation’s Activity

Summary/Abstract: An aim of considerations is to present non-profit organisations as beneficiaries of the process of European integration on the example of activities carried out by the Jagniątków Foundation. The analysis covered the project activities of the foundation in 2009-2013. To perform it the author used applied an individual indepth interview and an analysis of documents. In the light of the presented findings, the Jagniątków Foundation fulfils the role of direct and indirect beneficiary, while non-profit organisations – the role of final beneficiaries, what is presented on the grounds of actually achieved benefits, mainly substantial and social. In result of projects implementation, there grew, inter alia, the number of NGOs, hence the number and scope of activities being undertaken thereby. The structural funds currently play a significant role in development of the civic society, social dialogue and social competences. The article belongs to the case study category.
