Modern Approaches to The Position of Women in Islam -The Example of Moosa Jarallah

Summary/Abstract: First aim of this study is to investigate impression of woman understanding which was converted by modernism, that has begun in the West a few century ago but its effect has continued until our era, in Islamic World. For this purpose, some interpretations especially about position of woman in XX. Century in Islam will be discussed, secondly, thoughts of Mûsâ Cârullah, who differs with his wording and consideration in the same period, will be summarized in the light of his work named Hatun.
