Summary/Abstract: Although they belong to different centuries, that extend on the range of a millennium (IV-XIV century), all the saint authors from Philocalic are in absolute consensus in regard to the means, paths and needs that drive, through gradual virtue learning, culminating with the non-suffering and love, at the touch of the desired and beloved likeness with God. The study presents in a general note the life of this philocalic pillars and their opera, included in the twelve philocalic volumes, at the same time, outlining their personal experience, and their learning, each writing reflecting the character, experience and spiritual measure of each of the philocalic authors.
