PATRIARCH JUSTINIAN-DEFENDER OF ORTHODOXY

Summary/Abstract: The history of the Romanian Orthodox Church during the communist - atheist regime was marked by the personality of the Patriarch Justinian, because he had one of the longest and hardest pastorate, bearing with a lot of bravery in the patriarch chair for almost three decades (24 May 1948 – 26 March 1977). This year we commemorate 40 years from his passing to the eternity.
