Summary/Abstract: The emergence of e-commerce technology promotes tangible, favourable changesin the manner of doing business by enterprises. Nowadays there are many welldocumentedbenefits of the introduction of electronic commerce by SMEs. These benefitsare related to the expansion of customer base, increased investments in new products,entering new markets and streamlining business activities. The aim of the paper isto show the extent to which SMEs use the potential of e-commerce.
