Summary/Abstract: As is known, since the existence of humankind, the art of sculpture has always existed. Man, who wanted to explain himself with sculpture and drawings before recorded history, has conveyed those periods to us with the work of art that he left behind. The art of sculpture which is the same age as humankind is one of the oldest branches of art in history. This kind of art has sometimes made its presence felt strongly but sometimes has retreated into silence in its historical process up to now. In each of its transitional periods, the art of sculpture appeared with a different style and a different way of expression. When we study the sculptures made in those periods, it is seen that the process of sculpture continued sometimes in concept of movement, sometimes stylistic, sometimes depictive and sometimes mobilized. Concept of movement, which was in mass until the 20th century, has passed to a new dimension after that century.
