Research and Development Centers in Poland in the Years 2008–2014 – Selected Aspects

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is a description of entrepreneurs who have research and developmentcenters status. The paper describes the number, a location, legal form, the size ofthe share capital and the subject of research and development of these entrepreneurs. Thenumber of entrepreneurs who have research and development centers status is growing.Research and development center are located in big cities and they are commercial companies.Their share capital is usually less than one million zł. In most of their subject ofresearch and development are the technical science and natural science.
