On Analysing Rhetorical Structure in Text (based on material from Bulgarian)

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of this article is to represent an approach to text structure called RST-analysis which is applied to texts written in Bulgarian. RST-analysis works from the bottom up as clause units are identified and then linked according to function. The author selects particular clauses and relates them in specific ways to meet communicative goals.
