Sistematizarea aşezării rurale Vărzăreşti la începutul secolului al XX-lea
The systematization of the Varzaresti village in the beginning of the XXth century

Summary/Abstract: In studying the history of settlements on the territory of Republic of Moldova usually we don’t have the research material illustrating their territorial development, especially if we talk about development of rural settlements. Some plans and maps designed for specific locations are a rarity, so every document of this kind is in itself an important source of information about the territorial organization of Moldovan villages and also part of the human genius heritage. Author unveils for the first time the plan of the estate Vărzăreştii Noi conducted in 1909, found in the household of Batcu Ana, a 70 years old lady from this village. The document is full of information about the organization of human life in that period, estate plan presenting the situation at the beginning of the XXth century. Since the plan of the estate does not locate the position of the village, also to identify the direction and dynamics of the evolution of the village as a center of human life, the author traced in the archives of INCP “Urbanproiect” the village’s plan made in the 1960s. The intention of the author to study the particularities of the development of the Moldavian village was made in this small study by presenting an original graphic material, illustrating the existing situation of the village in about 50 years.
