Summary/Abstract: The holdings of the archival institutions in East Croatia have, to date, played a rather insignificant roles the source for the researchers in various fields of the medieval studies. The main reason lies in the fact that they hold no original medieval documents. Nevertheless, some records from the Early Modern Period can be used by the medievalists.
