Summary/Abstract: The subject of the teachers and parents’ relations has always been discussed in the pedagogicalliterature. As rightly noted R. Wroczyński, “neither school nor family can function without close cooperation[…] without the systematic and organized cooperation between home and school”. Parentshave knowledge about the student and the teachers can gain from them most information abouttheir pupils. This information is provided during individual, group or non-formal meetings. Schoolsare trying to use ICT tools such as e-mail, e-journals, Facebook school profiles and school websiteswhich enable indirect contact. This article presents the results of the research on forms of cooperation between teachers andparents and tools for exchanging information between them. ICT tools and Internet make it easy toreach with the message to a wider audience, to break down time and space barriers, and the users cancomplement the personal contacts. However, the study has shown that there is a minimal involvementof parents in the contacts and collaboration with school.
