Working style in public and private sectors’ employees

Summary/Abstract: Transactional analysis is psychodynamic theory successfully applaible for evaluation and development of the individual professional realization. This report aims to identify preferred working styles according transactional analysis paradigm in employees engaged in different organizational environments. Sample included 158 persons of whom 77 are employees in the public sector, 54 in private sector and 27 were self-employed. The results presented significant differences in prefered working style of self-employed and employees of public and private sectors. The results established also significant differences in working style depending on organizational position, length of service and gender of the respondents.
