Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on the links between six sub-functional values derived from functional theory proposed by V. V. Gouveia and two aspects of psychological well-being: Flourishing and Life satisfaction.Based on a study of 448 individuals aged 18 to 65, of whom 237 men and 211 women, it is found that functional values have a stronger impact on psychosocial well-being (Flourishing) than on life satisfaction. In particular, despite the positive relationships found between the six core values and the Life satisfaction scale, it can be assumed that they very little influence life satisfaction, with only normative values being a significant factor. At the same time, interactive, existence and suprapersonal values largely determine psychosocial well-being.
