Summary/Abstract: The appointment of the person responsible for the data protection represents, at the same time, a specific obligation regulated under the new general Regulation of EU regarding the data protection in charge of the personal data operators and of the empowered persons, as well as an occupation/profession of a new nature for Romania, yielding a potential of professional development of the staff in the field of data protection, respectively of the future experts in this field of activity which is a continuously dynamic evolution, almost keeping the same peace of the technological development and omnipresent digitalization in the present society.
