Summary/Abstract: The conversation concerns, uninterrupted since 1976, phenomenon of the Academic Choir of the University of Bialystok, created by students and graduates of the UwB. The team is led almost since the beginning by the conductor dr hab. Edward Kulikowski. Maestro is a graduate of The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Postgraduate Studies of Choirmaster at Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, longtime employee of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Bialystok, professor of the University of Bialystok and The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. The Double Jubilee – of the Choir and Conductor – contributed to the reflection on the importance of tradition, continuity in the culture of the present, and formation, educational contexts realized in music and through music.
