Summary/Abstract: The article analyses some of the selected Old Testament pericopes in the Glagolitic section of the Reims Gospel. This manuscript originated in the Slavonic Monastery in Prague in 1395. In fact it is a Lectionary containing Biblical Readings for main feasts of the Monastery. The author tries to reveal the origin of the Church Slavonic text of the Glagolitic Lectionary and comes to the conclusion that selected Old Testament Pericopes from the Book of the Prophet Isaiah, the Book of the Prophet Malachias and the Book of Proverbs were translated from Latin and were borrowed to the Reims Gospel from a Croatian-Glagolitic Missale. Biblical readings approximates from the textological point of view most of all to the Vatican Missale No. 4 dated back to the 14th century.
