Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the work is to substantiate the modern philosophy of management on the basis of culture and art of management as an irrational aspect of management, which in combination with the traditional (rational) approach will provide an opportunity for a holistic vision of the object of management and ensure the adequacy of managerial actions. The methodological basis of the study is the dialectical principle of cognition and the systematic approach, the fundamental provisions of the theory of organizations and management. General scientific, managerial and interdisciplinary research methods are used: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, modeling, sociocultural. The scientific novelty of the results is to use an integrated approach to explaining the management process, which, unlike the traditional one, takes into account an irrational component. Conclusions. Management in the context of global restructuring of the world becomes extremely complex, sophisticated process. Under these conditions, traditional management, as science with the abstract-logical method, revealed a number of shortcomings. From the point of view of managers, using purely rational methods, a significant part of the control object, which can not be formalized, falls out. The consequences of using such a purely scientific approach are incomplete vision by the managers of the object of management , incorrect assessment of situations and inadequacy of managerial actions. An integral approach, which takes into account irrational factors and by means of the parallel inclusion of the abstract-logical and emotional intelligence of the manager, provides the integrity of the perception of the control object. The management process is seen as an act of existential choice, and the manager's activity is directed at conscious production and realization of meanings
